Break the Cycle of Shame in Your Family

Dawn N. Fleming, MA, LMFT* will address the pervasive effects of shame, both for parents and children.  Exploring the roots of shame and how it develops, Dawn will reveal how parents inadvertently shame their children.  With the consequences of shame being severe, parents will gain thorough understanding of how children respond when shamed in relationships.  Parents themselves will learn practical skills to heal their own experience of shame, so as to break the generational pattern that often exists in families.

Through a mix of teaching and personal prayer time, you will discover how shame can be healed and released.  Including practical suggestions on how to communicate with and discipline your child, this event will fully equip you with strategies that promote confident, shame-free kids who are resilient and full of healthy esteem, based on their identity in Christ.  Be prepared for transformation in your heart and in your family!

Living Influence, LLC

Living Influence is a Christian organization committed to offering everyone an abundant and complete experience of God. Our hope is not only to create the opportunity to experience God vividly as a collective body through our conferences, but also to meet the needs for one-on-one counsel and healing, through our counseling center. We believe that both are necessary for true, lasting change, as well as to fully receive from God what He has prepared for you.

The purpose of Living Influence is to influence others in vividly experiencing God. Our longing is to witness a movement of people, awakened by a healing encounter with God, who are compelled to embrace a life of reckless surrender, thereby igniting a generation of living influences.
